For Fashion East, London
The award is the first of its kind and we are proud to announce our inaugural winner as fashion designer Natascha Stolle, who we’ll be working with this summer on an amazing new website for her collection.
The launch of the rehabstudio Design Award is a collaboration between us and Fashion East which will run for several seasons, building an ongoing platform for supporting and nurturing new design talent.
The idea for creating the prize came when we were introduced to Lulu Kennedy from Fashion East, who look after some of the UK's hottest new fashion designers. We were looking for a creative side project and a joint-initiative with Lulu seemed like the perfect fit.
So in June, we challenged her 3 men and 3 womenswear designers to pitch their ideas for what they'd like to create with us and Natascha was picked as our winner. She came up with an inspired idea, and work has already started on bringing her concept to life. It's going to be awesome!
The new award is the perfect coming together of Fashion East’s edgy design talent, with our creative flair.
