Life is limited, but most of us live like it isn’t: we eat fast food, exercise too little and put work first when we should prioritise family and friends. There are plenty of ‘wellness’ trackers available but it’s hard to relate all the data we receive with what’s important.
Life clock takes data from Apple’s HeathKit app, and calculates the positive and negative effects the user’s everyday decisions are having on their life expectancy. This data is then converted into time and this amount is then displayed on the Apple Watch.
The app then makes recommendations that can improve the users health and increase their life expectancy. Tips include how to eat better, more effective exercising techniques or even suggesting seeing more of friends and loved ones.
The app has been an international success gaining coverage from all manor of media sources including press coverage from Wired, PSFK, The Mail Online, Yahoo!, The Huffington Post, NY Daily News, and The Fast Co to name but a few.
